Rise and fall of the Democratic party
I caught over an hour of the 2 hour C-SPAN rebroadcast of the DNC, New York City Town Meeting.
This was a meet and greet for the candidates for Terry McAuliffe's position, to those who will be voting from the North East.
Most of the candidates were your hip deep, behind the scenes types. All expoused the points that the Party must
rebuild, if it is not going to keep it self from being destroyed. Of course, this actually reality for the Democrats, but
so far none of them seem to get why they are losing. Of all the candidates, Roemher seemed to get why they are losing.
But worry not, for HARDCORE Leftist in the party won't let that happen.

Howard Dean did very well in both his presentation and his answers. So, while I will not say that he has it locked up.
He performed well, got most of the applause and all of the softball questions.

I did get one laugh out of this show, the question was "11 Democrats brought up objections to C. Rice's appointment.
As the the leader of the DNC would you support or reject the minorty opinion?"
Not that I could not believe that question was asked, it was the answers. For actually a couple of them got it.
To Black America here was an educated, well dressed, intellegent Black woman; who is a high ranking offical in the
current administation. And there were Democrats, who had absolutely no reason (other than she is a Republican)
or chance of stopping her nomination making ad homonim attacks with no substance for a week.
Further alienating Blacks and Hispanics, for how can they trust Democrats; if they will go to these lengths?

Pelsoi and Reid did more damage to Black Democat voters in one week than GW has done trying to move them towards
the Republican party in 4 years. It is like watching Nero playing his violin as Rome burns.
The question is who is Nero? Pelosi, Reid or Hillary?

And the LEFT said it would never happen...
Today in Iraq, the people of Iraq put democracy in to action. Much to the dismay of those on the Left in America.
Not only did Iraqi's in Iraq vote but most of the ones in America voted as well. Some driving 1000 miles or more.
Now remember, this is happening despite the promise of reprisals promised by militant Muslims.
So to all the pessimistic, whiny liberals like Aaron Mcgruder, Dan Rather, Ted Turner, et al.
You lost another round, the people of Iraq were not too scared to go vote. Of course, this in no way means
that problems in Iraq are over. But it is a step in the path travelled by Japan, Germany and Italy after WWII.
It will still take another 4-7 years before true stability will emerge. Something the "I want it now" liberals in America
can not admit. For even the forming of this country, did not happen over night.

Like the Clintons party were cheap!
To all, who think Bush's inauguration was too expensive .

Clinton's costs, you know during the deficet spending battles and government shutdown years.
see:http://washingtontimes.com/business/20050111-093847-2626r.htm
1993 Mr. Clinton's first inaugural cost $33 million in private funds, and his 1997 inaugural committee raised $23.7 million. The cost was $36 million.
That's a far cry from the $3.5 million spent on Jimmy Carter's inauguration in 1977.

And to Ken Shram of Komo 4, in answer to your story:
http://www.komotv.com/stories/34895.htm

1997 AP story
CODY, Wyo. (AP) -- The Cody High School marching band, the little town band that almost didn't make it, now has almost
too much to do. It is going to toot its own horns all over Washington in the inaugural festivities.
Last month, the band's hopes for a spot in President Clinton's inauguration parade were dashed after the people of Cody
had spent three months raising $100,000 for the trip.

Have a nice day,
Mike

The "L" factor
I recently read an article by NEAL STARKMAN in the PI called." 'S factor' still relevant in election".
http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/opinion/207960_firstpersonsfactor.html

It is a follow up to an article he wrote on Jan 5 called the
" The S factor explains Bush's popularity".
http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/opinion/155107_firstperson05.html?searchpagefrom=1&searchdiff=378

What is the "S" factor? The "STUPID" factor.
If you think I am kidding, just look at this excerpt"
"Politicians have been aware of this forever; they cater to these people. They offer simplistic solutions to
complex problems. They evade directed questions with non-sequiturs. They offer meaningless, jingoistic pap
instead of thoughtful policy. And these people, the "S" people, eat it all up with a ladle."

Of course what does this really show? Well, I think it shows what I call the "L" Factor. What is the "L" factor?
It is liberalism. You know the self-righteous, self-important and don't confuse me with the facts attitude.

I know this is not how liberals see themselves but it is true. Need proof, just disagree with a liberal on say, the UN.
But be ready for a 3 hour lecture on why it is such a great organization. And how they have not done anything wrong.
Do not tell them that it is the second attempt, the first was "The League of Nations". That the organization collapsed in 1946
because of corruption within organization and it's appeasement philosophy leading up to WWII.
These are the same type of attitude and actions taken by the "UN" toward Iraq, today.

It is just like that argument that I had with a "liberal" friend of mine over another issue.
He disagreed with me over the recount for the governor's race. It was not until I mentioned to him that like his hobby,
"Model Making", "it is the details that matter". And that ended that debate, for none of his arguments could
disprove my point. I wish other liberals where as cordial and could admit their errors as easily.
I think that is the part that bothers me the most, these are "knowledgeable", "logical", "well read", "thinking" people.

Don't get me wrong, I am not perfect or even infallible but I do admit when I am wrong. I also go out of my
way to look into the oppositions point of view. Often this is insightful, but it can be frustrating at times.
For there is a lot of mis-information out there.

Take "Armor for Humvee's". The number of "up armored" Humvee's in the US arsenal, before the Iraq War
was less than 2000. The number of "up armored" Humvee's in Iraq by Nov 2004
was over 8000.
With another 4000 due in country by February 2005.
Considering that the Humvee is a 1985 replacement for the Jeep, which administation do you think decided how many
"up armored" Humvee's were needed. If you guessed, the "Clinton" Administration, you would be right.
But you will not hear that peice of information in any liberal blog or newspaper.

The voice of reason?
As I read the "smackdown" in Michelle Malkin's column, I can only say that I am not amazed.
You know you won the argument, when the personal attacks ramp up.
So here is an excerpt from her column:

http://michellemalkin.com/archives/001212.htm

If you read the, MINORITY CONSERVATIVES AND THE SELLOUT SMEAR
By Michelle Malkin ยท January 12, 2005 11:15 AM
My column today discusses the hidden impact that the Armstrong Williams/Dept. of Ed. scandal will have on minority conservatives:
As a result of the Williams/Department of Education payoff, the rhetoric against the rest of us
will get even nastier. In the name of "minority outreach," the Republican education bureaucrats
who cooked up their pathetic scheme with Williams have done more damage to our credibility
than all the unhinged liberal cartoonists and race-baiters and grievance-mongers could ever
hope to do.
Thanks for nothing.
In the column, I excerpted a few of the countless hate e-mails that come into my mailbox every
day. Here's a bigger, uncensored sample from just the past few months:
Hi Self hating flat nosed Filipino Bitch! As we used to refer to your kind - little brown Fucking
Machines. Looks like this little LBFM learned to whore in a different way to make some pesos.
How sweet.

ETC, etc, etc... read the whole article.

I say to Michelle that I appreciate how brave you are to put up with these "enlightened" individuals.

I wonder which side the ACLU will take?
I read this article and this was my first thought.
The article "Tell a lawyer joke, go to jail?"
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/6818054/
Now will lawyers be treated like gay's, Native Americans, Blacks and others under the civil rights and
hate crimes laws of New York. Will these two people been accused of hate crimes? This pure
political correctness in action. Where do people get the impression that you have a right to NOT be offended.
One of the things that I have heard many times in my life is, "you need to be able to laugh at yourself."
This is because if you are always serious and do not admit you can make a mistakes that is when you do
some of the most foolish things.
So to the Judge of this case I say, they were not in your Court Room, so they were not displaying
disorderly conduct. To the Laywer, quit listening in on other people's conversations, COMRADE.

And the path into darkness beckons...
As I listened to Gregoire being swore in as the 22nd Governor of Washington State, I could not help
but hear the "Imperial March" from Star Wars in my head. I guess it is just coincidence, that the 3rd
Star Wars Film is due out this year. The "Revenge of the Sith" is suppose to show how "The Republic"
is subverted and becomes "The Empire". So Christine Gregoire has a lot to do, if she manages to stay
in the Governor's Mansion, to remove this image from my mind. But somehow I do not see that happening.

The Rules
Too the many pundits, reporters and other blogger's either just don't get it or they are just lying about the election rules.
The law states you can contest the election for fraud or negligence.
Negligence is what has been happening in King County for the past 10+ years at a minimum.
Rossi and the Republicans had to only prove negligence, not fraud. I sure that finding ballots on
9 separate occasions after election day on Nov 2, 2004, more than qualifies as negleigence.
So to all the "college educated" reporters, why are you not doing your job?
Aren't you suppose to be "unbiased"!

Why Washington is not Florida....
To all those people and the Press, who like to compare Washington to Florida 2000.
1. Never did any recount in Florida change the outcome of the election.
Even the recount done by the Associated Press after the election found that to be true.

2. Nowhere in Florida is a County Elections Building allowed to be used as the voters "home of record".

3. There was only 1 instance of a ballots being recovered after election day.

4. In the end, the US Supreme Court ruled that the state could not change the rules in the middle of an election.

This covers the reasons why a revote is likely to occur. But you will not hear this from the Mainstream Media.

Seattle Sports fans....
Question: Who is the largest group of Sado-Masicist's in the country?

Answer: Seattle sports fan's

So, it comes as no surprise that the Seattle Seahawks lost to the St. Louis Rams.
I will say that it was a decent game that went down to wire. But Seattle was unable to put the ball
in the endzone in the final minutes. It is not that I am a "fairweather" fan, it was not until I moved
to Washington that I was able to go to a professional sports events on a regular basis. So I am and have
been a fan and root for the local teams for more than 17 years. All I can say is "Maybe next year Seahawks."

It will come out, but will it do any good
Since before the 1st recount, I have been saying that the numbers did not add up. I learned
about numbers from my Dad. He was an Air Traffic Controller for 19+ years, if did his job like
King County ran elections? Well, lets just say that there would be more orders for new airplanes.
But let's get down to brass tacks, Gregoire was calling the election a "tie". That is when she was
down in the count, but when the tally changes in her favor, it is a "victory". No need to challenge
this count, in fact it is "the most accurate".

But I have been showing that the numbers published by the WA Sec of State's office do not add up.
I sent this info to them and even got a reply,

"Dear Mr **********,

Thank you for your e-mail. I am unable to comment on the PI's web site or the numbers listed

there. The numbers on our web site are the correct figures. However, those figures are unofficial
until the recount is certified, which we anticipate doing tomorrow.

I hope this is helpful.

Tracy Buckles
Elections Program Coordinator
(360) 902-4159
#2004-1184
"

But the certified number were the ones published in the Seattle PI. Of course, I did not expect
no real answer to my follow up letter. But it was a clue as to the direction and tone in Olympia.
So when you hear about the finding of other voting irregularities, do not be surprised.
After all, if the numbers do not add up; there had to be a problem. So ask yourself would you
accept this behavior from your bank, your payroll office. I know I would not.

I did not have to wait long......
I wrote the previous post without having read the Sunday Times/PI paper.
In it I found this article: Liberals hope Gregoire will repay support
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2002138165_gregoire02m.html
If Gregoire owed anyone, it is Logan; but that kind of friendship does not make you any points.
The fact that the Time's reporter David Postman thinks that liberals pushed Gregoire over the top, makes me wonder what planet he is on.
David, NEWFLASH!!! 136,000+ voters voted for both J. Kerry and P. Murray but did not vote for Gregoire.
This should not have been a close race, Gregoire should have won by 100,000 votes easy.
Liberals are Gregoire's base and liberals were Kerry's base. Liberals voted for Gregoire but that is not enough for her to win. In fact, like the rest of the nation, you have to appeal to more than just your base to win.

Happy New Year, same old Liberals...
Happy New Year to All.

For it is a new year and it should only take a week for liberals to break any resolutions that were made by Jan 1.

Why do I say this, well it is easy to predict. I watched a lot more TV, in the past 2 weeks, than I normally do.
And since it is the end of the year, you get the "year in review" shows. C-SPAN, CNN, MSNBC, and others had some good shows.
The recurring theme seemed to be "how did we (liberals) lose to these guys". From the PBS forum on C-SPAN to CNN's Year in Review.
You saw policy wonk's to political wonk's decrying the "ignorance" of the public. The PBS Forum on Dec 11 on C-SPAN was the
most intense in their disgust. It was not enough that several of the speakers had to call the viewing public, "ignorant", some several times.
Many of the speakers expressed their disbelieve that anyone can actually disagree with them. If they were not so serious, I would have laughed at this.

Now, this is no surprise to anyone who has been following these people for years. For it only takes a couple of weeks of
objective watching of these people to get a good read on their beliefs and agenda's. I know that I have an agenda when I write here
was well but I freely admit it. I write in this blog to express my opinions, insight's and inform people of the information that
I have or obtained that is not being released or reported to you. I am a conservative, Navy Veteran, son of a Air Force Veteran,
the grandson of a farmer and, as Dan Rather would say, a member of the "Pajama clad bloggers".

So as I sit in my pajama's and write this, I foresee many new articles from those on the left aimed at showing the they have changed.
So I tell you now, DON'T BELIEVE IT. It's a lie, Liberals may want to believe that they have or will change.
But real change comes from within, to something that you find in yourself that you want to change.
But liberals do not want to change for themselves, they only want to regain their position in the government.
For if you listen to liberals, you here the same refrain. "How can you think that way?" Don't believe me, you should have watched
the C-SPAN show on PBS. Or better yet just listen to NPR for a couple of days, I am sure you will hear them say this or something similar.
