Global Warming again....
JB,
First off, I did not archive the post after you commented.
Blogspot does this automatically based on the date it was posted or >10 posts.
Note: it was posted Feb 6, I did a follow up post on Feb 20 because of a lack of responses.

But to answer you questions, these are not "my facts" but just the facts.
Go to https://www.fnmoc.navy.mil/
This is the website to FNOC (or FNMOC, as it is known now). I worked there for 30 months.
I worked on both the NOGAPS ( Navy Operational Global Atmospheric Prediction System)
and NORAPS (Navy Operational Regional Atmospheric Prediction System) models among others.
These are the primary weather prediction models still used today. So while what I put out is
"common knowledge" to those who actually process the models/information. It isn't promoted
by the global warming crowd because this does not support their point of view. The
"Ice Age" information is also available, but again this does not support the global warming crowd.

The real funny part is "global warming" does exist. In fact, without it we would not be here.
Global warming has affected plant and animal life by enabling or deterring its development.
And in 3+ billion year life of the planet, there is plenty of evidence of major changes happening.
Almost all of which happened before man or fossil fuels became part of the dominate culture.

JB, read it and weep

We want you........
To go into debt for the party. The Democratic party, that is.
For this is what showed up in the mail on Friday at a neighbors house. A Visa credit card offer.
It has 1% rebate on purchases and a 0% interest on balance transfers until Nov 2005.
You can donate your 1% rebate to the DNC, if you want too. But you got to be a fool to take this
card for it comes with a 24.99% base interest rate. Which says a lot to me, about what Democrat
leaders think about their constituents. I mean really ,what sort of person is going to make him
or her self get a card that has an interest rate over 15% in the first place.

This is at the core of the Democrats problem's, as I see them. Democrats think that what you
earn is not really your money. It is the parties or the nations. For you do not know how to best
use this money and it is unfair that some people may have less than you. So, it is your
responsibility to make those peoples life better. But since you may be too self-centered to do
that, we will use the government to make you comply. Of course, we know that the rich will
pay only the minimum possible, including rich Democrats. So we must continue destroying the
middle class to pay for our social programs. But trust us, we know what is best.

A comedian can be a columnist?
For all of you liberals out there that had a connipition fit about a blogger being a reporter.
Look at who the Seattle Post-intelligencer put as a columnist on the question of gay marriage.

See:
http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/saturdayspin/216621_sorbo19.html

At the top it states:
CATHY SORBO
SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER COLUMNIST

But at the bottom it reads:
Cathy Sorbo is a Seattle-based comedian; www.cathysorbo.com.

First of all, I find it fitting that she is doing the column. Especially since what she has written was so laughable.
She actually thinks, that this change will have no effect on our society. After all, it is just what two people, who profess to
love each other, want. How bad can that bet?
*****NEWS FLASH CATHY: Ever heard of unintended consequences? ******
If you allow gay marriage what is next?
In Asia, Africa and parts of Europe; the age of consent is 12. Why are we at 18?
Why is it a problem for teachers and their student to be "involved" with each other? (i.e. Mary Kay and Villi)
What is next? Human and non-human marriages, after all she was the best goat I ever had. (joking)

And I have to ask. Where is the outrage from the press? Is she or is she not a journalist.
Can only those who support the liberal point of view be allowed print space in the PI?
A Blogger can write a blog about current events for years and NEVER get a column in the PI.
To put it succinctly. Lady, you are deluding yourself.

If this does not scare you, you need a lesson in history.
This was a letter to the editor of the Bremerton Sun Newspaper on March 21.

Politics
The Right is wrong about our freedoms
To the Editor:
When the Christian Right-wing claims they want to get government out of people's lives,
they're not telling the truth.

There are three issues about which the Christian Right wants to restrict our rights and freedoms
as citizens by forcing their moral code on the rest of us. First, a woman's right to choose whether
or not to have an abortion. Second, gay and lesbian people's right to get married.
Third, the fundamental right to die.

They don't understand that if the Liberal Left had its way, then people would have the choice
and thus the freedom to decide these issues for themselves. No liberal would ever force a
Right-wing Christian woman to have an abortion, or to marry a lesbian, or to die only when
her God wants to take her regardless of her pain and indignity. Under a liberal agenda,
everyone will have the freedom and the responsibility to make those choices.

Right now, though, the Right-wingers are violating the most fundamental principles of American
citizenship because they are restricting the choices of ALL according to THEIR moral code.
They curtail the freedom of all citizens through their perceived divine right to rule — and that
is NOT what America stands for! The Right is Wrong!

John C. Cxxxxxx
Bremerton

Now, first of all, I can not disagree with this person more and here is why:

Liberals believe "the woman" is the only one with the right to choose, not the fetus or the
sperm donor (as liberals call them).

When single sex human couples can have children without outside intervention, then you can
call it "marriage". It is not religion, it is biology and history.

If you sign any of the current "living wills" or "DNR's" then you can be denied medical attention.
If you are "capable" of requesting to be allowed to die, your request is normally honored.
But this is not the governments role to choose. Liberals want the government to choose.

Claiming to have a lack of moral code is in reality a moral code. Just one that lets you do what
others would not.

And finally, under the liberal agenda, the money you make at work was not earned. Thus is not
yours to keep. Especially, if you are making as much or more than a liberal congressmen;
unless you are a liberal Actor or Rock Star.

The Left is right? Don't bet on it.

Dem's block it, Rep's blamed
Did I read this wrong or is it an example of the bias the Main Stream Media is accused of?
The article was titled, "House Republicans Fail to Win Passage of Legislation Aimed at Saving Brain-Damaged Woman's Life"
By JIM ABRAMS Associated Press Writer

Here is the quote:
"WASHINGTON Mar 20, 2005 — House Republicans, seeing Congress as a last hope for brain-damaged
Terri Schiavo, failed during an extraordinary Palm Sunday session to pass legislation aimed at
prolonging the Florida woman's life.

Once Democrats refused to allow the measure to go ahead without objection, Republicans began
scrambling to bring lawmakers, who had just started their Easter recess, back to Washington.
........
After Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-Ill., gaveled the House into session, Democrats made clear
they would not let the bill pass on a voice vote. That meant the need for GOP leaders to gather
the required number of lawmakers for a roll call vote. "

If Republicans would have been the ones to not let this measure go forward, do you think
this same headline would be used? I do.

While I do not support this effort (read previous posts), where was the interviews with the opposition?
Why were no Democrats quoted about the reason to not proceed?

So again, I state there is no need for a new liberal news organization. Especially when you have
the existing one in place.

Why there should be no gay marriage
Why I am opposed to Gay Marriage. I think the hypocrisy from the left should not go unreported.
To those who insist that schools must only teach the theory of evolution, then those same people ought
to be opposed to gay marriage. If only to be consistent in your views. I state this because what is marriage?
marriage is an institution that has been used to promote the joining of different tribes, ethnicities
and nations. Marriage has been a successful tradition because of the progeny produced by those couples.
There is historical evidence that when a marriages does not produced children. Bad things can happen,
up to and including war. So it really comes down to biology.

Now in the interest of showing that I am being totally fair. I can relate to the plight of gays. I love to fly.
In fact, both my father and uncle were pilots. I could, with a little practice time, still pass the skills test
to be a licensed pilot. But I can't be a pilot. Why you ask? Well, I have a genetic defect. I am partially color
blind (green-white, light spetrum). I nor anyone in my family knew that I had this problem. In fact, it was not
until I went into the Navy that this problem showed up. If you think being gay is hard. Just see how many things
and jobs that you can not do if you are classified as "color blind".
To list a few and why:
Drive a car. ----------------Most signs and lights are color coded
Fly a plane. ----------------Indicator lights for planes and runways are color coded
Electrician .----------------Electrical wiring is color coded
Electronics Technician. ----Electronic parts are color coded
Equipment operator -------Many controls and indicators are color coded

Luckily for me, I do see most colors at all times and can pass my driving test easily.
But I was not allowed to be an electrician like my grandfather.
So, while I do understand their desire to be like everyone else. In marriage, gays are not the same as everyone else.

Where is Joe Izuzu, when you need him?
After reading this article in the Seattle PI, this was the first thought to come to mind. After all what
was I-601 about? To me, it was about the fact that we can not trust those in state government.
So along comes Sen. Regala and Sen Prentice, who trying to tell you and me to just "Trust us".
Or at least trust the same democrats, that got us and this state, into the current mess.
And we promise not to pick your pocket.
Lady's, NOT during this lifetime.

Just look at the quotes:

Sen. Debbie Regala, D-Tacoma, said "601 was not intended to shut down government or make
it impossible to provide essential services.
"The intention was to ensure that you were prudent," she told fellow senators Tuesday.
"Some people are going to say we're just making it easier to raise taxes. It's never easy to raise taxes."

"The needs are so great, greater than any I've ever experienced here. There's simply no way
we can absorb the kinds of cuts that would be dictated," said Senate Budget Chairwoman
Margarita Prentice, D-Renton.
Prentice called the initiative a "fiscal straitjacket." But she said Regala's bill wouldn't be a blank
check for Democrats to randomly raise taxes.

We have reached gender parity in at least one area. Don't trust these female Used Car Salesman.

What is a patriot?
On another blog, I inserted myself more than I should have. Partially because I know the blogger of that site personally.
Partially because I have seen this tactic used to discredit the source, it can work if done correctly.

What is a patriot?
To me, it is someone willing to stand up for his/her beliefs; even those I disagree with.
Someone willing to do good for his/her neighbors, city, state and country, but remembers where he/she is from.
And person willing to do the unpopular, in the hope that everyone will benefit.

While I would never be a part of Ground Zero, I do admire some of those who are members.
Just not the ones willing to sit in front of a moving train and expected the train to stop.

Military service is often a good indicator, but do not forget about people like Benedict Arnold and John Walker.
Both served this nation and both betrayed it.

I consider anyone who was a military dependent as having served. Between the constant changing of
places, schools, friends and the separations caused by the military lifestyle. This is rarely experience outside of military life.

Which is why all Veterans are Veterans, even those that never left the U.S.. Serving in the miltary
is hazardous to your health, just ask any insurance agent.

On the road again,,,and who do I run into
Well, I got to see first hand the devastation wrought on San Diego, CA.
Of course in the Great North West, we have had San Diego's weather (sunny and warm).
So now I get to listen to the global warming nuts proclaim that by August there will be no
forests unburnt north of Sacramento. But there was some real highlights.

One was, I got to meet the Mexico Women's Olympic Soccer team. They stayed in the same
hotel and most spoke very good english, especailly compared to my spanish. I should have
gone and bought a soccer ball at Kmart and had them sign it. They were in San Diego to play
an exhibition game with San Diego WFC women's soccer team, the Sealion's.
See:
http://www.wpsl.info/news/

The Second was on Saturday, a company of Marine reservists checked in to the hotel having
just come back from 7 months in IRAQ. I was able to talk to them over the next 3 days. I got
a lot of information from them on what had happened in Iraq while they were there. I also
thanked everyone of them for their service.

Each one of them told me of how grateful most Iraqi's are with what we are doing in Iraq. And
that in many areas of the country things are slowly improving. How tense it was leading up to
to the elections and how much it has changed sinvce those elections. Overall, most of them
stated that you can tell things are changing in Iraq.

There was one thing that they all agreed upon, you are not getting the truth about what is going
on in Iraq from the mainstream media outlets. Too much attention is paid to the violence and
not to the rebuilding, the restoration of human & health services and education efforts in Iraq.
They even praised the civilian contractors also in Iraq.

This definitely gave me a better read on what is happening in Iraq.
Mike
